They’re just like buses. Having picked up a lifer yesterday
at Reculver and waiting patiently for Dan to finish work we ventured to Margate
Cemetery where Steve Tomlinson was basking in Dusky Thrush glory and well
deserved for working his local patch.
The light was much improved and the throng of twitchers had
dispersed allowing the ‘locals’ to enjoy this bird and get the much sort after
‘record shot’ which caused great debate with the Seers (Steve Ashton &
Richard Smith) advising Dan on shutter speeds. Personally, I agree with
flexibility, but what do I know. Still had a great day. Even popped in to
Chambers Wall in the hope the Red Backed Shrike that’s where the luck ran out.
