Osprey on your garden list? Yes please.
Well today it was sitting in the garden and getting pictures of the birds. Not much came to the garden today but the usual Starlings, Sparrows, Blackbirds, Collared Doves, Dunnocks and a single Robin. No Goldfinches while I was there though. While sitting there though I heard the Herring Gulls going mental above me so I thought I would look up to see what was going on and there straight above me was an Osprey! I've seen a possible Osprey before in Kent but this was certain and what a place to get it, it's not a bad one for your garden list! In all the excitement of seeing it I didn't know what to do with myself and then realised I should pick my camera up but it was far too late for a good picture and I had taken my converter off as well for the garden shots. I phoned my Dad straight after as he was in Dartford today and once again to say he was gutted was an understatement.
